Freezer meals & 1st swimming lessons

I invested the whole morning to cooking up a storm to freeze for the week. Of cos there r simple things to cook. But sometimes, i just wan to pop a meal into the oven or instant pot and be done with it. N some dishes r just more elaborate.

Dish 1.. pasta in mushroom sauce.

Dish 2.. terriyaki chicken to be toss into instant pot.

Here is my Joy.. in the pool for yer 2nd swimming lesson. And we r late again.. cos the timing is in the mid of Jr J nap time. I planned to leave earlier.. i even packed earlier.. but everything seems to be dragging cos it is hard to get ready for 3 ppl. Next week i will leave 1 hr b4 class time.

The top of my cardigan.. first time trying top down knitting.. slightly nervous.. haha...

starting a New Crochet shawl

I still have 2 wip and a drawer full of yarns. But i still ordered some from taobao cos i wanna more shawls for myself to keep warm.

All becos of my sinus.. if i am too cold.. my runny nose starts then the whole cycle begins.. fever.. cough..n inflammation.

So here i am... starting a new shawl.

Kid's Clay

I found a way to off tv without distress cries from my kids.. without the use of threat too.

Read somewhere to give them rewards.. that are activities.. not ipad or such.. more like reading or crafts with parents. Reward them with my time.

I helped her with the apportionment of clay n guide her step by step.

Then we made a cat... n i tot i ask her if she wants to decorate her cat.. she requested to put a nose and whiskers.

I rejected her request for the whiskers becos they will be too flimsy but she insisted that they r easy to make. Then i got an idea n cut out some bits of fishing line for the whiskers instead.

We r quite pleased with the result.

@bevtan the clay are a type of light weight air dry clay i found on taobao. Called "magic clay" by coioyou.
